I am a Child of God began as a Primary song for children, and the church’s 1985 hymnbook includes it as well, so whole congregations sing it, not only the children. If you want to hear the melody before you play it, the church’s own music player has it too.

The 12-hole tab uses the plain natural notes, with C at the bottom and high C at the top. Nothing here needs the small sub-holes or the thumb holes, which makes it a calm, unhurried piece to practice tone on. The words sit under the notes, so you can follow along line by line and sing it in your head as you play.
