About Twinkle Twinkle Little Star#
My daughter loves to sing along when I play this one. It works well for that because the words sit right under the notes in the tab, so whoever is singing and whoever is playing can stay together line by line.
The melody is built from very little. The last two lines are the same as the first two, and the middle pair is a single phrase played twice, so once you have learned three short phrases you have the whole song. On the 12-hole ocarina it stays between C and A with only natural notes. It never calls for the small sub-holes or the thumb holes, which makes it a relaxed piece for a new player.
