About You Are My Sunshine#
This one went up by special request. The song was first recorded in 1939 and is credited to Jimmie Davis and Charles Mitchell. Most people only know the cheerful chorus, but the verses are sung by someone whose sweetheart has left, and they are a good deal sadder.
On the 12-hole ocarina the tab starts on D and climbs to high E, so the thumb holes open for high D and high E. The only accidental is a Bb, but the plain B turns up as well, so listen for the difference and make sure each one lands where the tab says. Syllables are printed under the notes for anyone who wants to sing it.
