About Lugia’s Song#
Lugia’s Song comes from Pokemon: The Movie 2000, where it is the melody tied to the legendary Pokemon Lugia. It is a gentle, wistful tune, and it suits the ocarina’s soft voice. This tab was transcribed and sent in by tessfallout, and I am grateful for it.
It covers a lot of ground on the 12-hole. The melody dips to low A, which needs a small sub-hole closed and is a note a 6-hole ocarina cannot play at all. At the top it reaches high D and opens a thumb hole. Every note is natural, so the challenge is the range rather than tricky fingering, and the syllables under the notes help you keep time.
