About Saria’s Song Lost Woods#
Saria’s Song is the tune Link learns from his friend Saria in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and it is also the music that plays in the Lost Woods. Koji Kondo composed it, and its bouncy, looping melody is easy to recognize from the first bar. Thanks go to tessfallout, who tabbed this version for the 12-hole ocarina.
At eleven lines it is one of the longer tabs here, and it spends real time in the upper notes. The melody climbs from C all the way to high F, so high D, high E and high F each open the thumb holes. There are no sharps or flats, which helps, since the quick repeating phrases leave little time to think.
