The Major Scale on a 12 hole ocarina is absolutely worth learning and memorizing. By itself it still sounds great, even though it’s just a scale. I sit on the edge of the bathtub where the acoustics give strong reverb and just play the scale. You can really express your soul with this scale, or parts of it.
