Today you will learn the A and G notes. If you’ve been following along, you should know 6 notes when you are done with this lesson.
In case you want to print this ocarina lesson out, or see it without distractions, I’ve made the Sheet Music available for you.

Thanks for posting these! They are really helpful. I bought an ocarina and songbook, but I’m quite horrible at it. The child songs are perfectly for learning how to get the notes right.
On that subject, is the note ‘A’ supposed to sound so shrill? Its horrible, I’m worried I’ll disturb all the other renters in my building! Yet every song I try it seems to be an integral part of. Are there any songs that don’t rely on that note?
Keep at it. It’s a muscle memory thing. Pretty soon you’ll be making smooth and beautiful music.
I understand your concern. I play classical guitar softly in a room by myself – but that’s not what music is for! Besides it sounds best in a room with reverb like bathroom, or a stone hallway. With that being said, you can “over blow” a note and make it sound not right – and you can “under blow” it too. Find that right pressure and keep practicing.
Thank you for this post. The sounds that the notes make have help me. I also love that you have the tabs and the sheet music. I’m a beginner so this has been very useful and clear instructions. Thanks again!
I Really appreciate the addition of notes as I would rather not rely on Tabs, however, I am having difficulty figuring out how to count with this music. They don’t appear to be anything but quarter notes. Am I missing something?
You are correct, there is no timing. It’s just for the finger positioning and learning the note. I hand created the tab software and haven’t added timing of other notes yet.
